Our Journey

The Beginning
Our story begins in Kolkata, where I was born. Moving across India—from Mumbai to Chennai—we eventually settled in the Bay Area in 2012 when my father’s software career brought us to the U.S.
The First Big Event
My mother’s passion for cooking was well-known in our family, but in 2014, a close friend asked her to cater their daughter’s Annaprashan (rice ceremony).
The guests loved it, leading to more requests—and soon, a small favor turned into a growing catering business.
Opening The Eden Gardens
With increasing demand and love from our customers, it became clear that a restaurant was the next step. In May 2024, we opened The Eden Gardens in Downtown San Jose, turning our family’s passion into a full-service restaurant.
Growing a Community Favorite
Over the years, our catering services became a staple in the Bay Area Bengali community, serving over 900 events—from weddings and birthdays to pujas and large festivals.
